T-4 days until Spring Break!

Leadership has planned Spirit Week for the week. The themes for each day have been updated in this communication and on our website.

This week's scheduling change is for the Middle School Wrestling Team. The Championship Tournament has been moved up a day and will now be held in Lower Lake on Wednesday @ 4:30 pm.

We charge entry fees for athletic events to help pay for officials. Adults are $5, Seniors (over 55) are $3, and students without a student ID card are $1. This includes all spring sports at any school in our county.

To give you an idea, a soccer referee costs about $100 per ref. With 2-3 refs on the field simultaneously, it costs about $300 per game. We don't make nearly that in gate fees, so the teams do other fundraising to close the gap. We aren't charging entry fees to make money, but are attempting to keep our sports programs running.

6th-grade families: Now is the time to consider making an appointment for your 7th-grade vaccines. Your child must have up-to-date TDAP shots to attend school starting August 7th. Several families could not get appointments on short notice, so please plan ahead. We want our students in school. If you have any questions, please get in touch with us so that we can put you in touch with the district nurse.
