A message from Mrs. Dorman's office
Happy Monday, Bronco Families!
I think we have just wrapped up our hottest day of the week, and we are all pretty excited about that on campus. Bring on the Friday rain!
We have four more days before our fall break, and we started the second quarter with a fresh slate today. This is a good reminder for students who fell behind during the first quarter to begin turning in all assignments now so they don't need to play catch-up in December.
Report cards will be mailed out next week after teachers wrap up final report cards.
I hope you have a wonderful week ahead and time with your kids next week.
Teens and Socials
Teens and Socials
Please continue to talk with your kids about their time on their phones and social media. (Snap, TikTok, Twitter, Texts...) It can all go wrong if things are shared that weren't meant to be. I have this conversation with students regularly, and a more significant impact could be made if we collaborate to share the same message. I don't know if you have noticed at home, but middle schoolers need to hear things at least five times (maybe even five times a day) for them to stick. Yes, that was a hint of sarcasm you read. But really, I want our kids to be safe, happy, and comfortable at school. Some of that starts on their screens.
