Message from the Principal:

Dear Middletown Middle School Families,

The end of the year is rapidly approaching. We will be publishing an eighth grade promotion video for our promoting class of 2024. The video is scheduled to be released on June 4, 2020. This is our original promotion day. We will post the video on our Google Classrooms for students to view. Please feel free to log in with your student to see our digital celebration. Promotion certificates and teacher choice awards will be mailed home. Eighth grade class, we are proud of you, congratulations!

Report cards will be mailed home the week of June 8th. Students will be issued a “Pass” for the students who successfully completed their assignments during distance learning. Students who failed to complete assignments will receive a “No Grade.” “Covid-19” and the assignment completion ratio will be written in the comment section of the report cards.

As of now orientation for the 2020-2021 school year is August, 10th for 8th grade and August 11th for 7th grade. Orientation will be held from 4:00- 6:00 pm in the MMS Gym. Proper social distancing guidelines will be followed as issued by our public health officer.

Orientation packets will be mailed home to you, allowing you to complete the required paperwork in advance. Please bring that paperwork back with you during orientation.

We are hopeful we will be permitted to start the school year together at Middletown Middle School. The first day of the 2020-2021 school year is August 13, 2020. Thank you.
