Back to School Night 5:30-6:30PM. Students are highly encouraged to attend.

For ATTENDANCE, please call Teri at (707) 987-1441. Please add this number into your phone!

Attendance cannot be changed after 48 hours.  Parents must provide the note, the reason, and the excuse within 48 hours of the absence and we cannot go back in after that to change a student's attendance. The state has tightened everything up and we need to make sure our data is consistent. Parent Knowledge is no longer accepted as an excused absence by the State.

REMINDER: During Brunch and Lunch: Students, remember that you need to keep your voices and language in check hanging out by high school classrooms! Do not disturb the high school!

Beginning September 4th: Mr. Coit will be hosting his After School Tutorial in his classroom Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:45-3:15PM.

Middletown Middle School’s Back to School Night: 5:30-6:30PM. Please join us for the evening to go through your student’s schedule and learn what they are doing and meet their teachers! There will be a BAKE SALE to raise funds for Leadership!

Thursday 9/6

Student Council Elections will be on Thursday the 6th, speeches will be held at lunch in the gym. Please be mindful of the posters that will be put up around the school. Please come and support your candidates when they give their speeches.

Volleyball tryouts will be held Wednesday 9/5, Thursday 9/6, and Friday 9/7 7th grade from 2:30-4:00, and 8th Grade 4:00-5:15PM.


Saturday 9/8

Middletown Area Merchants present FREE MOVIES Middletown Square Park. Showing the movie, Breaking Legs. This is a pre-teen teenage movie rated PG. Starts at dusk. Bring chairs/blankets, and enjoy the evening at Middletown Square Park!

Cookie Dough Fundraising Rally during 6th Period!

The school dance will be on the 14th. It is from 7-9 and is 60's themed.
We are having a competition between 1st periods. We need donations of small waters for the school dances throughout the year. The winning class will get breakfast!

Friday 9/14

Middletown Floral class announces that their Floral Club is back!  If you, a parent or community member are interested in receiving a flower arrangement each month, September thru May, please go online to middletownffa.com, go to the Floral Club page, fill out the paperwork and return it to Mrs. Rockwell in the Library.  Forms are also available in the Library and school office as well. To receive your first arrangement on time, please pay and get your form in by September 14.  We can only fulfill 65 arrangements, first come first serve!

Saturday 9/15

Volunteer Fingerprint Day 9-12 noon in the MMS/MHS Multi Use Room. All Volunteers must complete a volunteer packet and have a TB test prior to being fingerprinted.  Volunteer packets are located at all School campuses.


Friday 8/24

Community Service forms are available for students to pick up in the MMS office. Community Service is not required, however, we do recognize students who have served 10 or more hours at our 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony at the end of the school year.
