ATHLETICS

Saturday 12/8

Girls Basketball

Although we missed out on consolation by only 1 pt, and despite the girls only having 9 hours of practice time beforehand, they played very well.
Jaidyn Brown participated in the Hoop Shootout for their division, placing 2nd with 33 pts (she missed 1st by 3 pts), and 3rd place overall for all 5 divisions! She was also selected for the All-Tourney team, earning a $500 scholarship upon high school graduation.
Even though we didn't win the Sportsmanship Award, our girls were very respectful and spirited toward other players, coaches, officials and parents. They even dressed up for the rally, when all the other participants didn't (picture attached). We are super grateful for the opportunity for them to participate, and are even prouder of their efforts.
