For ATTENDANCE, please call Teri at (707) 987-1441. Please add this number into your phone!

Attendance cannot be changed after 48 hours.  Parents must provide the note, the reason, and the excuse within 48 hours of the absence and we cannot go back in after that to change a student's attendance. The state has tightened everything up and we need to make sure our data is consistent. Parent Knowledge is no longer accepted as an excused absence by the State.

Middletown Middle School’s Annual Food Drive: This November we will start our food drive for the holiday season. Last year we were able to help 19 families with Thanksgiving dinners, and would love to up that number. We are looking for all kinds of non perishable foods for Thanksgiving. Boxed items and canned items. This will run for the first 2 weeks of November, and the winning 1st period class will receive a breakfast provided by leadership!

Mr. Coit’s After School Tutorial will be held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday of this week.

Volleyball: Uniforms are due to Mrs. Slaight no later than Friday November 9th. You will NOT be able to tryout for basketball until your uniform has been turned into Mrs. Slaight. Thank you.

 

ATHLETICS

Starting Thursday 11/1

Beginning Thursday November 1st from 6-7:30 in the MMS gym there will open gyms held for any 7th and 8th grade boys who are interested in trying out for the basketball team. These are not mandatory and do not guarantee a spot on the team, but does gives athletes an opportunity to work on their skills and meet the coaches. Any questions please contact Mrs. Slaight. If there is a good turn out then we will hold two open gyms per week until tryouts begin on December 11, 12, and 13th.

Friday 11/5 - Friday 11/9

Girls interested in tryout for basketball this year will need to sign up in the MMS office beginning Monday November 5th through Friday November 9th AND have a completed athletic packet submitted. Tryouts will be as followed:
Tuesday November 13th and Wednesday November 14th-
8th grade from 3:00-4:30
7th grade from 4:30-6:00

Friday 11/9

Practice will begin on Thursday November 15th as follows for Girls Basketball:

Please note that between 2:30 and 2:50 athletes MUST be at the blue benches in front of Mrs. Slaight's room. NO EXCEPTIONS!
There will be a mandatory girls basketball parent meeting on Wednesday November 28th at 5:30 in room 1. If you are  unable to attend this meeting you need to contact Mrs. Slaight to receive all the necessary information. We will also be discussing 8th grade girls Crescent City Tournament, so attendance is very important. Thank you.

If there is a good turn out then we will hold two open gyms per week until tryouts begin on December 11, 12, and 13th.

League Tournament Times TBD @ Upper Lake

Starting Thursday 11/1

Beginning this Thursday November 1st from 6-7:30 in the MMS gym there will open gyms held for any 7th and 8th grade boys who are interested in trying out for the basketball team. These are not mandatory and do not guarantee a spot on the team, but does gives athletes an opportunity to work on their skills and meet the coaches. Any questions please contact Mrs. Slaight. If there is a good turn out then we will hold two open gyms per week until tryouts begin on December 11, 12, and 13th.

Friday 11/5

Girls interested in tryout for basketball this year will need to sign up in the MMS office beginning Monday November 5th through Friday November 9th. Tryouts will be as followed:
Tuesday November 13th and Wednesday November 14th-
8th grade from 3:00-4:30
7th grade from 4:30-6:00

Friday 11/9

Volleyball: Uniforms are due to Mrs. Slaight no later than Friday November 9th. You will NOT be able to tryout for basketball until your uniform has been turned into Mrs. Sliaght. Thank you.

Thursday 11/15

Practice will begin on Thursday November 15th as follows for Girls Basketball:
8th from 3:00-4:30
7th from 4:00-5:30
Please note that between 2:30 and 2:50 athletes MUST be at the blue benches in front of Mrs. Slaight's room. NO EXCEPTIONS!
There will be a mandatory girls basketball parent meeting on Wednesday November 28th at 5:30 in room 1. If you are  unable to attend this meeting you need to contact Mrs. Slaight to receive all the necessary information. We will also be discussing 8th grade girls Crescent City Tournament, so attendance is very important. Thank you.
