MMS Bulletin for June 2, 2017

Thank You Mrs. Stanley for your outstanding dedication to students and love of teaching! We wish you all the best in retirement and can’t wait to see where it takes you.

Dress Code applies to Friday Fun Day. Pride Pages will be checked Friday morning 1st Period.

Please make sure to have sun screen and a towel for Fun Day. Flip flops/sandals are an excellent idea.

Students will NOT be allowed to start 7th grade without having a Tdap date on file.

All 6th grade students were notified by mail about this requirement. ATTENTION: According to California State Law, students moving on to 7th grade will NOT be allowed to start school until they turn in proof of their Tdap immunization to the MMS office.  The only Waivers accepted will be "Medical" waivers signed by an MD or DO.  Waivers from other Health Care Practitioners are not accepted by the State.

Last reminder for students who applied to Woodland CC:

If you plan to enroll in Summer or Fall classes, please register ASAP. Remember that you will need to have your pink form signed by your parent & Mrs. Galvan, the High School Counselor, and submitted to the college prior to June 12 as that is the start of the summer session.

The area behind Rooms 8-13 is off limits to students during schools hours. If found in that area, pride pages will be signed. Please stay on campus!

Prescription glasses were found in the area in front of the MMS office. They have bronze colored frames, possibly worn by a male. If this sounds familiar, please see Ginny in the MHS office.

Norovirus, a VERY contagious stomach virus is sweeping Sacramento County, and has also been reported in Solano County. Symptoms include stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhea. It is spread by contact with contaminated surfaces, unwashed fruits and vegetables and raw seafood. A reminder to students to wash hands frequently and avoid sharing food and drinks. Frequent cleaning of shared surfaces is also recommended.
