MMS Bulletin for March 16, 2018

In the event of a school closure due to stormy weather: The MUSD office will make a determination as to school closure as early as possible on a school day. An auto-dialer phone call/text/email will go out to parents/guardians to the contact info we have on file. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR INFINITE CAMPUS INFORMATION IS UP TO DATE. If you are unable to go online and update, please call/email Sam Dean in the MMS office at or 987-4160, or send a written note with your student.

In the event that a school closure is deemed necessary after students arrive on campus, we will also contact you via auto-dialer. School bus transportation will be determined according to weather conditions. If your student normally rides the bus, please be prepared to pick up your student as soon as possible if bus service is not available. The Stormy Weather hotline is 987-4149. Please add this into your phone’s contact list.

The Middle School Garden is in need of used picnic benches. If you are able to donate one, please let Mrs. Cascio know. Thank you!!

Mrs. Slaight has (2) youth large and (1) adult small hooded wrestling sweatshirts for sale for $28.00 each. Get them before they are gone!

Pennies for Patients is coming up March 12-16th. This will be a Penny Wars contest 1st Period Classes will compete against each other! It will be a super hero theme.

Monday 3/19

Track sign-ups will pick back up Monday the 19th. Please make sure you have an athletic packet on file with Mrs. Slaight! Practice will begin on Monday 3/26.

Moose Lodge Community Spring Festival & Egg Hunt: 11AM-3PM

Wings of Hope: One Day Free Family Bereavement Camp is for Lake County family with children 5 years and older that have experience the death of a loved one.  Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Wednesday 3/28 – Thursday 3/29

Anyone currently in 8th grade who is interested in trying out for MHS JV Football/Basketball Cheer Squad for 2018-2019 seasons needs to report to the blacktop outside MHS gym on March 28th and 29th right after school (minimum days). We will be teaching the try out routine.
